Ruins behind tennis court.

Carlingford

Carlingford, an hour or so north of Dublin on Ireland's eastern coast, is a lovely town to stroll through. With the old and the (somewhat) modern side-by-side, this small, hilly town overlooks the ocean.

Carlingford's second-largest industry is fishing. Their largest, unsurprisingly, is tourism.

Row of colorful houses. People hanging out in front of some ruins. Philip Greenspun buying a Diet Coke. Nice trees on the coast, next to ruins of Carlingford. Marina. Philip in front of tunnel. Ruins on the coast. Thatched roof house. Sailboat.
