Japanese silk art

I have 4 silk (?) art pictures given to me by my father when he was stationed in Japan in 1950 at the start of the Korean war. There is no visible signatures on the pictures. All are framed and locations of the whereabouts writen by my father. The locations are as follows, (1) Amano Hashidate in Kyoto a small series of islands, (2) Nikko Shinkyo bridge inside large temple wall of Tokyo, (3) Yomeimon in Nikko Gate of large temple mouth of Tokyo and Shugain Garden in Kyoto large temple inside of which is the bridge. Is there any art/history website I can access to find out about this particular art and the subjects pictured? Thank you for your time. Best regards, PJF
