File Storage
I. The Big Picture:
The Community File Storage application enables a group of users to
collaboratively and securely maintain a set of documents. The
application is designed so that individual contributers to these
documents need not learn HTML in order for the documents to remain
properly formatted as they undergo revision.
II. Features:
- Provides server-based file storage and maintenance in a
hierarchical directory structure
- Provides for Web form based modification of files for those
unfamiliar with HTML
- Prevents security problems associated with traditional file
storage systems
- Allows for the retrieval of historical versions of a file
