Events
I. The Big Picture:
The Events application enables organizations to schedule, announce,
and administer events and to provide online registration for these
events. This application also allows organizations to sell tickets
for these events, and can be used in conjunction with the Ecommerce
application for this purpose.
II. Features:
- Enables administration and tracking of events and their
organizers, locations, and times.
- Enables additional information
for these events to be associated and displayed with the event
listings.
- Can function in conjunction with the Ecommerce module
to provide online ticket sales and distribution for these events.
- Provides statistical information regarding upcoming event
registrations.
- Allows organizers to automatically email reminders
to event participants.
